Mr. T. Manoharan, a serial entrepreneur started his career in BHEL and after gaining immense exposure in the field of Engineering Metal Fabrications and other related business sectors, and went on to establish his successful manufacturing venture JBF in the year 2003. Having more than 100 satisfied clients in various sectors of steel fabrications catering to every unique requirement and offering efficient solutions. Addressing customer pain points is the most successful strategy which drives us over the decade.
Mr. Sripathi Dinash Manoharan, CEO of JBF is someone who involved with the brand since its inception. Mr Sripathi holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and has gained immense exposure in working with Areva T & D India Ltd (Alstom) and joined JBF in the year 2008. Mr Sripathi, has tirelessly contributed to the operations functioning of JBF and with an attitude of continues improvement. He ensures that each and every business function of JBF to get sharpen and optimized to step forward towards the goal everyday.
Our History
Formation of JBF
Having gained after 20 years of core experience in the field of fabrication Mr. Manoharan established the engineering fabrication industry in the year of 2003 with a 2000 Sqft area workshop in Ramapuram, Chennai with five manpower and started fabrication works for W.S Industries Ltd and also supported them in erection and commissioning of German Build Furnaces for ceramics curing.
Formation of JBF
By 2006, JBF had grown steadily from its modest beginnings. With the foundation laid in 2003, the company expanded its workshop capabilities, increased its workforce, and took on larger fabrication assignments. During this period, JBF not only continued its association with W.S Industries Ltd but also broadened its services to handle more complex projects in erection and commissioning, reinforcing its reputation in the engineering fabrication sector.
Technology Upgradation
This was the period when we brought in the new process technologies to improve the productivity and quality of fabrication. Having gained more than 20 reputed customers onboard as a result of the work practice of continuous improvement on achieving optimum in several parameters which ensures quality, reduced production cost, and improved delivery time.
Emerging of JBE - Jai Balaji Enterprises
Mr. Sripathi Dinash formed JBE with his proprietorship.JBE emerged in the year of 2014 as a sister concern of JBF which focuses on special-purpose machine building and other engineering solution-based products in Killkatallai Industrial Estate.
Further expansion of JBF
JBF expanded multifold by Instaling a UNIT-2 Manufacturing facility in Mudaiyur village, Thirukalukudaram, Chengalpatu. Which is 60'Kms away from Chennai airport. The unit consists of 100% inhouse specialty right from design to finish of metal fabricated projects with an initial production capacity of 400 tons per month.
Maximization to the Next Level
JBF further increased the capacity of production in terms of space and other resources which will enable us to capture further increased business from our esteemed existing and new customer. In this phase of continuous improvement JBF is focusing to get into new product lines and services there why improve the customer satisfaction level being on One Point Solution provider all their fabrication requirements.
Expanding Effective Work Space
By projecting increased business, we expanded into a 25,000 sqft new shed in the TKM premises. This larger facility enabled us to handle high-volume fabrication works, accommodate advanced machinery, and streamline our operations. The expansion not only improved production efficiency but also positioned JBF to take on bigger projects, serve multiple clients simultaneously, and strengthen its presence in the engineering fabrication industry.
A Leap in Capacity & Technology
This year marks a major milestone in Jai Balaji Fabricators’ growth journey. Our workspace expanded by 30,000+ sq. ft., reaching a total of 80,000+ sq. ft. of advanced fabrication infrastructure.
To further strengthen our capabilities, we commissioned state-of-the-art machines equipped with cutting-edge technology:
Structural Laser Cutting with Bevel – Capable of cutting 12-meter channels, pipes, and beams into precise sizes and complex designs, seamlessly integrated with 3D modeling.
High-Power Plate Laser Cutting – With a 2.5 x 6 meter bed size and 6 KW capacity, delivering unmatched accuracy and efficiency.
CNC Bending Machine – A 6-meter, 300-ton, 4+1 axis machine enabling high-precision forming of large structural components.
With these advancements, our production capacity has been drastically enhanced, enabling faster turnaround, higher precision, and greater reliability in delivering complex fabrication projects.
